Leo's Blog

I started Leo his own blog.
Some friends and family have asked how they can stay updated on what's going on. So here it is.

Hopefully I'll have a way to post while Leo and I are in SLC.
His due date is getting closer and I am trying to enjoy this life we have now.
I know it's going to change soon and I hope everyone (the kids) adjust o.k.
The last time we met with the Pediatric Cardiologist he told us,
"No matter how hard you think this is going to be, it's going to be harder."

Gulp and blink.

I could have used some more encouraging words, but I think he is trying to prepare us, which I appreciate.

And a big thanks for everyone's kind words and support!

Farm Reunion

This happened in real life.
I know.  We have dedicated enough posts to Abe and Tractors.
But, then this happened...

Scott's family had a reunion on his aunt and uncle's farm in Idaho.
This was kid heaven.

There were tractors of course.
And a zip line, and a teeter totter (how do we spell this word?), and a slide, a movie outside, and water fights and lots of butterflies to catch.

Scott and I mostly sat back and watched our kids have the time of their lives.
The best kind of reunion, I say.

Abe was actually scared of this "big, big tractor".  Equally scared and fascinated.  I'm going to start calling him "B.R."  Short for Broken Record.  This kid can talk about the same thing for one hour.  I will quote him now,
"Big, big actor.  Go on it.  Open doors.  Watch out other actors!"
I kept having to send him to tell other people.

Some of our favorite people.  Grandma and Grandpa Great

Abe really wants to go back to the "arm".
