Sisters, Sisters

We left the husbands and kids (except Bronwen, glad to have ya) behind. It was just the sisters, a mini-van, and the open road. Next stop: Denver. It was super fun to have to entertain, feed and encourage sleep for only for ourselves. Pass ME the snacks, I love them. We all look happy to be in the car because there are no pictures of the drive home. In a word, it was rough.
Here we are at dinner before we went to see Wicked. Dinner was good, Wicked was Fantabulous. Everyone liked it, loved it, bought the t-shirt (except Annie and me). Jessey has the ticket, the program, the t-shirt, and the bag that it came in. I think she liked it. Happy birthday, Jess!

Airforce!

Sunday morning we drove to Colorado Springs and went to see this church on the Airforce base We went to a Presbyterian service for the cadets that were graduating. Jessey and Bronwen were eying all the men in uniform, while Erin longed for her days as a wife of a man in uniform. (just kidding, girls). Everyone say AIRFORCE!

Garden of the Godesses

Sunday afternoon, we went to the Garden of the Gods. We saw lots of dogs. Jessey saw and officially named about 13 dogs "the cutest dog ever". We were all missing our kids (and dogs).

Mother, I love you

The best present I got for mother's day is Macy singing in sacrament meeting. The primary (probably 12 kids) got up to sing Mother, I love you. Macy was in the front and she sang her heart out! She was truly the ONLY one you could hear and it was loud and clear. Even when she wasn't sure of the words, she was still belting it out. Everyone was laughing. I was laughing so hard, I was crying. It was so cute and she was so proud of herself when she was done. I was proud of her too. I love that girl.

Happy Mother's day

To all the moms we know. . . Grandma Janet, Grandma Dedee, Erin, Holly, Annie that goes with Jed, Annie that goes with Alan, and Heidi: We hope you have a great Mother's day! You are all wonderful mothers and we wish we could be with each of you! We love you, have a great day!

Mom

Mom, Thanks for being such a good example of what it is to be a good mom. . . Patient, loving, and soft-spoken. You have always led by example how to be a faithful member of the gospel.` I admire you and love you for those qualities. I love you, we love you. Happy mother's day, I'm sorry I couldn't spend it with you. I hope you have a great day! Amanda

ZOO-rrific!

We went to the Zoo yesterday with Grandma Dedee, Auntie Annie and Milo. The kids had fun. The moms did too. I'm not sure that Miles is stoked about sharing the stroller. It only took about 25 seconds for them to try and make an escape.

We sure love elephants

The kids all loved looking at the huge elephants. Good times.

Macy at the zoo

Macy desperately wanted an animal hat. Now I can see why... AWESOME!
Macy says: "I love the zoo. Um, I liked seeing the giraffes and that's all I want to say."

Words from Macy

I would like to say I like dressing up! (shock) And that Annie loves me and I love reading dinosaur books. And the skins sticks up on my finger and hurts. (hangnail).
