Wasatch back

181 miles from Logan to Park City.

12 runners.

3 legs each.

27 hours 30 minutes.

Here's a quick summary:

3:30 p.m., 5.6 miles past Hyrum dam and into Paradise.
The heat was excruciating. I almost didn't survive. Seriously.

11:30 p.m., 4.9 miles through Morgan Valley
This was a blast running in the cool, dark night.

8:30 a.m., 5.1 miles through Kamas and Francis. I was tired. Very, very tired.

Scott(Socks) was a champ.

He ran 6.9 miles @5:30, 5.7 miles@ 2 a.m., 3.6 miles@ 11.

He was awesome. really, really awesome.

Macy was disappointed to hear we didn't win... but we did take 178th out of 560! That's good, right?

The Dirty Dozen

We are so done.

Love is all you need

Tonight I made a killer dinner of

a) leftover mac and cheese
b) leftover pizza
c) cucumber sticks

Alas, the ladies didn't feel like eating...

All they wanted to do was kiss eachother

and kiss eachother some more
Seriously, about 76 times.

I could only take so many pictures.

Sun Fun

So, question... Where did the sun go? Anyone? In warmer times, we went to the park with cousins Willa and Sosie (not pictured, sorry.), where we did lots of swinging. I must say the day Macy learned how to pump herself was one of the top 10 days of my life. She's pretty proud of herself too, although she's not ready to give it a ranking. I'm going to start working on Polly's skills. In the meantime I give great under-dogs.
Swinging

and pushing
Note to self:
Next time, flipflops.

and swinging with Willa
and Holly pushing
a little sliding

Soon it was hot,
and the ladies got tired.

To cool off,
a run through the sprinklers
and Otter Pops.
(I like Alexander the Grape.)
