Yesterday we had a
Back to School Tea Party in our backyard.
[Sicily, Sosie, Willa, Polly and Macy]
First we made these tea party hats
that I saw on Design Mom.
Then we served mini foods:
sandwiches, muffins and cookies.
and raspberry lemonade for our "tea".
It was a wonderful time.
Everyone acted like ladies.
I think we'll start a tradition.

I love the hats and will totally be making those next week. What a cute idea.
I loved the hats too! What a great mom you are Amanda. It shows in Macy's face how much fun you had.
That tea party sure looks fun! I will be coming back here when I have kids to see what fun things I can do with them! You are so good with your girls!!!
Why do you have to be such a cool mom and make me look bad! Maybe you could just come over and do that for my kids and I could take credit!!
Looks like a real party! Those girls are so darn cute! Oh...they look absolutly beautiful in there hats!
You are like mom of the year or something! mini foods!? Really!? You rock.
I found you totally by accident, and I must say I miss you, neighbor, "Nacy" is so grown up.
And I second that you are a cool mom.

Just stop, okay, the Joneses can't keep up.
This is adorable. What pretty little ladies. I need a little lady to do tea parties!

It was so good to see you and the ladies. I wish we could have gotten together again.
Amanda-out of boredom the other day I clicked you c-jane link. And I found myself totally engulfed in her blog, and tearing up a few times. She is an amazing writer-and I can't imagine what they are going through. Crazy and just so sad.
Amanda, Happy 30th birthday tomorrow!! Remember 30 is the new 20, so you are barely not a teenager anymore.
love. love love love.
