Heard from the playroom

I overheard this moderately troubling conversation in the playroom yesterday:
Macy: I'm texting Joshua.
Polly: Oh, I'm texing Alasa (her made up name for everything)
Macy: Joshua is a boy
Polly: Oh... a boy
Macy: Now I'm going to call Chrisine
Polly: Is he a boy or a girl?
Macy: She's a girl. . . Oh, hi Chrisine. . . good. . .Oh, I'm just going to hang up and text you now.
This is moderately troubling for 3 reasons:
1. I hardly ever text myself
2. We DON'T text boys
3. She already knows texting is prefered over having an acutal conversation.

Has she been watching Tiff too much? I think that is her preferred means of communication. It is scarey to think what they pick up from just watching us and everyone around them everyday I, however, love Polly's innocents through it all. I Love those girls!

They are growing up to fast. I hate texting. who wouldn't choose talking over typing on tiny little keys? not me. Don't you love listening to their conversations, kids are so silly.

This is so funny. I just want to lock our kids up in a room together and see what they would come up with. It could be fun.

And Sienna had a strep test yesterday (still waiting for results). Someday we will play. I am not avoiding you.a
