One of our favorite family traditions is during conference weekend, making Grandpa D's pancakes between Sunday sessions. We've been doing it for as long as I can remember. My grandpa is a taskmaster, his way is the only way. Make sure the egg whites are at perfect peaks and DON'T pat the pancakes! These days he sits back and let's his posterity do it. But we still follow his rules.

We flip and flip and flip...
The kids wait...impatiently.
The prefered topping is strawberries and whipped cream. Then we eat until we are sick. It's the best.

Wooo, that's a lot of pancakes! If you cook American pancakes to me when I'm visiting, I'll make Swedish ones for you!
these look like the swedish pancakes my grammy would make every time we slept over. we now make them all the time. we would eat them with melted butter and powdered sugar. ha! so unhealthy. but we would also do fruit and whip cream or now we even do bananas and nutella. sssssooooo good. :)
mmm. that sounds good. I'll have that.
what a great tradition. and, right now, those strawberries are making me drool. yum.
Polly's face is best. You don't have to guess what she is thinking.
