Antelope? Island

We made the trip to Antelope Island (my first time seeing the Great Salt Lake, weird right?) Besides from a delightful aroma, the Great Salt Lake also offers a number of birds, ducks, and fowl of all kinds. Maybe someone can help me out, but why didn't we see any antelope? To the delight of the children, we did see some of these:

We hiked to Dooley Knob. The weather was perfect and Macy made it the whole way like a trooper. She was happy as long as she could pick a couple flowers, which is what we talked about the whole way.

Courtney and Trish: If you read this, please know that I wanted to get down the mountain by sliding down on my backside, and I planned on doing so in celebration of reuniting with the both of you, but truth be told, it was too rocky.

I'll always regret the peer pressure I brought upon you that resulted in your near-death brake.

On the other hand, I am glad you had a nice day. I've been to "the island" myself and I have to say the margaritas are to die for.

And I am sorry. Again.

Who knew Antelope island with no antelopes has such a great view. And your children...scrumptious! Ok, I am going to be honest, I really want to stay on the computer and blog, but I really must clean the bathrooms.

Amanda! I hope you don't mind me posting, I saw the link to your blog on Courtney's . . . and since I was actually *there* when the whole rolling down the hill incident happened, I felt that I must of course comment. I hope you remember me, This is Jenn D. (now Jenn S.) from London Study abroad.

Your girls are *gorgeous* ( I have two girls also, aren't sisters the best?)

Wishing you the best . . .

Hi. Found you via c jane. I wanted to say your pics are gorgeous and I never could see the draw to Antelope Island until today. I'm adding it to my must-see list.
