I Did This With Old Maps

I like maps, alot.  I had a pile of vintage old maps from my grandpa and decided he probably wanted me to cut them up and turn them into something else.  So I did.  My sister Erin and I made some collages with a little Mod Podge (first time user!), a big canvas and a lot of love. She posted about it here.

I used the blue oceans in varying shades for my back ground and I made an "M" at the bottom out of greens.  I wanted the color change to be subtle.

It was almost a full day of cutting, mod-podging and looking after the babies. I'm super happy with the results. 

Big art for my wall for $37!!  Wahoo!
